What we collect

Information you give us

  • Name, email address, WhatsApp number and company name at sign-up
  • A referral code, if you were introduced by a partner
  • Anything you write to us by email, WhatsApp or through the site

Information created by using the service

  • The questions you send to the assistant and the answers we return
  • Subscription status, billing dates and payment history
  • Basic technical data such as timestamps and error logs

What we do not collect

We do not have access to your conversations with your clients. The assistant only receives messages you send to it directly.

Why we use it

  • To answer your questions and deliver the service
  • To manage your subscription and take payment
  • To calculate partner commission where a referral code applies
  • To support you when you contact us
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations

Sharing your information with referral partners

Read this part carefully if you signed up using a referral code.

Cortexa runs a partner programme in which partners earn 20% of what the brokers they introduce pay, for as long as those brokers stay subscribed.

If you signed up using a partner's referral code, we share the following with that partner: your name, your company name, your subscription status (active, on trial, or cancelled), the date you joined, and — if you cancel — your WhatsApp number, so that they may contact you about resubscribing.

We do not share your email address, your billing details, your payment method, or the content of any question you ask the assistant.

If you would prefer your contact details not be shared with your referring partner, email info@cortexa.ae and we will remove that link from your account.

Other people we share with

  • Payment processing — Stripe. They handle card details; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Messaging — our WhatsApp Business Solution Provider and Meta, to deliver messages.
  • Infrastructure — hosting, database and automation providers that operate the service.
  • Professional and legal — accountants, auditors, or where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Account and message data is kept while your account is active and for a period afterwards to meet accounting and legal requirements. You can ask us to delete it sooner — see our data deletion policy.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email info@cortexa.ae and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

We use encrypted connections and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.

Changes

If we change this policy materially we will notify subscribers by email or WhatsApp before the change takes effect.
